Women’s College Hospital provides free language interpretation services for patients and their families. We also provide sign language interpreters for patients who are deaf, deafened or hard of hearing.

Clear face masks are also available to assist patients who lip read. Please let your clinical team know that you would like clear face masks to be used during your appointment.

Service animals are welcome to accompany patients during their visit. However, there may be situations where animals are excluded from a space by law or for infection prevention purposes. In those instances, WCH clinical teams will work with the patient to arrange an alternative service where appropriate and available.  However, patients remain responsible for all animal care while onsite at WCH.

Documents and forms provided to patients or those found on the WCH website can be requested in alternative formats, such as larger print, simplified language, or accessible electronic format.
